Sarah Shadburne (she/her) is a Louisville, Kentucky-based writer, editor, poet, and hedonist with an active imagination and a passion for storytelling. As a professional journalist for the last three years, her work runs the gamut from informative articles on banking programs to quick-hit human interest stories on local artists to the freeform poetry found in her self-published zine.

Whatever form she takes, Sarah demonstrates a conversational elegance in her writing which you can find in Louisville Business First, LOUtoday, Let's Go Louisville, WNC Magazine, and Asheville Grit. 

Her professional goals include publishing a collection of her poetry, writing a fiction novel and accompanying screenplay, and using the power of language to help people feel less alone in this hectic world.

Outside of work, she loves trying new restaurants, reading birth charts, and spending quality time with her espresso machine.
